WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
I recommend starting out simple. If you are new to training or are just getting back into it, I will typically start off with bodyweight exercises. Calisthenics are one of the most overlooked and underutilized training modalities. If you feel compelled to buy some equipment, I would start off with resistance bands, a kettlebell and a jump rope. You can always add equipment later on.
HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?
We will work together as a team to tailor and customize YOUR training and nutrition program. I like to chat with you prior to creating your program to figure out what is best for YOU and what YOU are wanting to achieve. I also have the extra training of being a physician, adding the benefit of expert lab interpretation, a thorough understanding of metabolism, hormones, and physiology. We will use this to your advantage to help you crush your goals!
DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE AND A DIET PLAN?
I have different plans that are scaled, depending on your goals. It will range from single options such as only training or only nutrition, to the platinum package of training, nutrition, weekly check ins, unlimited email access, free training app, medical analysis, and even manual therapy such as osteopathic manipulation.
